Introducing OpusClip 3.0: Clip Different

Today, we are rolling out OpusClip 3.0. It's packed with different surprises that allow you to create clips more tailored to your preferences, catering to a diverse array of scenarios.

With OpusClip v3.0, you can clip different video genres, create clip results of different lengths (up to 15 minutes), generate different styles of video titles, and make your results look more appealing with a different AI b-roll generator and more animated captions. You can also use OpusClip in a different way - only use OpusClip to add animated captions and emojis to your videos without clipping.

And the cherry on top? We've significantly increased our engine speed, now processing an 1h video 300% faster than before, to give you a different processing experience.

What's new in OpusClip 3.0?

💡 Genre-Specific Curation Model

Every video genre has its own version of 'viral moments,' which is why we've revamped our curation strategy and launched the Genre-Specific Curation Model.

With the new curation model, you can specify your video genre (Q&A, vlog, listicle videos, webinars, etc.), and we'll tailor our curation approach accordingly to ensure better outcomes.

We will continue to improve our existing curation models, and expand them to support more video genres.

✂️ Mid-Form Clip Generator

Mid-form videos strike the perfect balance between brevity and depth, allowing you to convey complete ideas while maintaining audience engagement and monetization opportunities.

And now, you can use OpusClip to effortlessly craft mid-form clips to suit your content needs! Simply upload your videos, choose your desired mid-form length ( ranging from 3-5 minutes, 5-10 minutes, or 10-15 minutes ), and OpusClip will automate the entire mid-form video creation and editing process, saving you valuable time.

Please note that currently, we do not support the addition of AI b-rolls to videos longer than 3 minutes, but stay tuned as this feature will be available soon.

🔥 Viral caption templates + Add captions only

You asked, and we listened! We've added some new viral caption templates , and now you can easily make your clips look as good as big creators!

But that's not all – you can now use OpusClip to only add captions to your videos without clipping ! Simply upload your video, and turn on "Only add captions without clipping".

With this, you can enhance your videos with captions alone, saving you time and effort. Please keep in mind that this feature is currently limited to videos up to 15 minutes in duration.

🎥 AI B-Roll Generator (lab version)

Previously, we launched the AI b-roll feature that automatically adds contextually relevant b-rolls to your videos using stock videos.

The new AI B-Roll Generator uses text-to-video to generate contextually relevant B-rolls from scratch. You can further customize your AI generated b-roll by modifying the prompt, or selecting a new style (photorealistic, pop art etc.).

The new AI B-Roll Generator is perfect for visualizing abstract concepts that may be challenging to convey using traditional stock images or videos. Not only does it save you valuable time searching for suitable B-rolls, but it also elevates the visual appeal and professionalism of your short videos.

Please note that the AI B-Roll Generator is currently in the lab version and will be gradually released to users. Stay tuned for updates!

We upgraded our AI virality score to include more dimensions (Hook, Flow, Engagement, Trend) to help you better understand video performance.

📱 Social Post Title & Description Generator

We now support automatic generation of video descriptions and hashtags for your content.

Plus, with our latest update, you now have the ability to regenerate video titles based on various styles, including interesting, catchy, serious, and question formats. This means you can tailor your titles to better resonate with your audience and capture their attention.
